Crowe: Kids helped tame me

Russell Crowe has revealed how his children are responsible for taming his wild ways.

"The drinking thing has sort of taken a different place in my life since I had kids," the father-of-two said.

"There's a whole lot of things I don't do any more because it affects my level of patience.

"I don't want to be in that place where I'm exasperated with these beautiful children."

The 'Gladiator' star, who has two sons with wife Danielle – four-year-old Charles and two-year-old Tennyson – has been involved in scuffles in the past, including being arrested and charged with second degree assault by New York City Police in 2005 for throwing a phone at a hotel employee.
