Fielder-Civil chooses prison over rehab

Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil has turned down a second opportunity to leave jail early - after rejecting an offer from prison officials that would send him straight into rehab.

Fielder-Civil is currently serving a 27-month sentence at Highpoint prison in Suffolk, England, for causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and perverting the course of justice.

According to reports, officials offered to cut his stay by more than two months if he agreed to seek treatment.

Just last week, he was told he would be released if he went to live with his mother in Nottinghamshire, England, and wore an electronic tag - an offer he also refused.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "This will be another blow for (Amy). Blake could have gone to rehab and sorted himself out but would rather see out his sentence in prison. All he wants is a free reign when he leaves, which means living with Amy back in Camden (in London)."
