West avoids felony charge over airport fracas

Kanye West won't face felony charges for attacking a photographer and smashing his equipment at Los Angeles' LAX airport.

The rapper took offence to one snapper while checking in to board a flight bound for Hawaii on 11 September, and lashed out at him. As a result, West and his road manager Don Crowley were arrested and taken into police custody.
