Baldwin 'dreamed' of reconciliation with Basinger

Alec Baldwin has given up a long-held hope of reconciling a friendship with ex-wife Kim Basinger, after enduring a bitter long-running custody battle over their daughter.

Baldwin launched a scathing attack on the actress earlier this month, accusing her of alienating him from 12-year-old Ireland.
