Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills has praised the former Beatle's new relationship with heiress Nancy Shevell - insisting the star has "exceptional taste in women".

Mills and McCartney's 2006 separation was finalised in May after their six-year marriage ended in a messy public divorce.
