DeGeneres becomes a CoverGirl

Comedienne Ellen DeGeneres has landed a new role - as a spokesmodel for cosmetics giant CoverGirl.

The chatshow host, 50, was rumoured to have signed a six-figure deal with the make-up firm last week - following in the footsteps of R&B beauty Rihanna and Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore.
