Laurie admits struggle with American accent

'House' star Hugh Laurie has apparently admitted that it doesn’t get any easier for him playing an American.

The British actor has been playing grumpy Dr Gregory House on the hit US TV show for four years, but it seems he doesn’t always find it easy.

“The accent is the most frustrating thing for me,” Hugh tells Entertainment Weekly. “Almost everything else you do in life gets easier the more you do it. This one doesn’t.”

The star returns for the fifth season of the hit medical series on September 16.
