Ryan: 'Hollywood is nearly done with me'

Meg Ryan is convinced her Hollywood career is nearly over - as film options are limited for women over 40.

The 'Sleepless in Seattle' star had long been considered America's sweetheart, but she decided to take a break from the limelight following her 2001 divorce from Dennis Quaid.

Ryan admits that at 46, she will never be able to recapture her previous fame - because there are less starring roles available to women over a certain age.

She says: "I think when Hollywood is done with me, I will probably be done with it. I'm not interested in playing those stock characters any more and I don't feel sad that I don't get those kind of offers."
