Crime thriller 'Street Kings' worth a look

Police detective Tom Ludlow (Keanu Reeves) is reeling from the death of his wife, numbing the pain with vodka.

He rarely plays by the rules, making him a prime target for Captain James Biggs (Hugh Laurie) in Internal Affairs. When Tom is implicated in the murder of his former partner he joins forces with an idealistic homicide detective to clear his name. Street Kings is an amalgam of writer-director David Ayers’s earlier films ('Training Day', 'Dark Blue', 'Harsh Times').
