Spears denies sending package to Palin's daughter

Teenage star Jamie Lynn Spears' mother Lynne has denied reports she sent troubled Alaskan 17-year-old Bristol Palin a baby gift package on behalf of her daughter following the scandal surrounding her pregnancy.

Reports suggested Lynne called designer baby gift boutique Petit Tresor in Hollywood and ordered a stack of designer burpcloths for the daughter of US Republican vice-presidential hopeful Sarah Palin.
