Gisele to help Max Factor celebrate 100th birthday
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is to front a new advertising campaign for cosmetics giant Max Factor to celebrate its forthcoming centenary.
The Brazilian beauty signed on as spokesmodel this week, and Max Factor bosses insist her appointment was a "no-brainer".
Associate marketing director Bruce Katsman says: "She's the image of our high fashion consumer.
It's not so much about her look, per se. She's rocked the runway so she's perceived as a great canvas. We think she does the same thing for makeup."
Gisele is delighted to be a part of Max Factor's 100th birthday celebrations, which will kick off next year.
She says: "I thought it was really cool to be a part of something so old. I can't believe something can exist for that long. For a business to stay alive for that long, it must be really good."
And the star ponders her own future, adding: "Imagine what I'd look at 100 years old?!"
