Mel B: 'I'm not in touch with Posh'

Former Spice Girls star Melanie Brown doesn't speak regularly to her ex-bandmate Victoria Beckham - because the pop stars have very little in common.

The singer, who now resides in Los Angeles, admits she isn't in touch with any of the members of the disbanded girl group, who reunited for a successful comeback tour last year.

She tells Britain's 'Closer' magazine: "We're not in touch much. Victoria and I are very different. People bracket us together because we live in the same city and we're both interested in fashion. Victoria's fashion line has been very successful and hopefully mine will be too. But that's where the similarities begin and end."

And despite living just a few miles away from the Beckhams' property in L.A., Brown insists she would rather spend time with her husband Stephen Belafonte and her young daughters Phoenix Chi, nine, and Angel Iris, one.

She adds: "I love being at home with my family. My kids make me cry - in a good way. I love it when they learn something new and it makes me shed a tear or two. I'd hate to miss out on any of that."
