Amy Winehouse's mother-in-law has lashed out at the troubled singer's family for allowing her to carry on performing despite being "seriously ill".

Georgette Civil, mum of Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil, has blamed the star's turbulent life and subsequent drug abuse on her family - insisting they should stop her from working in a bid to focus on getting better.
