Make-or-break Ritchie film premieres

The world premiere of Guy Ritchie’s new movie RocknRolla takes place tonight.

The film centres around a Russian mobster in London’s criminal underworld.

Ritchie, 39, is attending tonight’s premiere alongside the cast of the film.

'RocknRolla' is being seen as the director’s make-or-break movie following his last two film titles 'Swept Away' and 'Revolver'.

His wife Madonna had a starring role in 'Swept Away' and the film and her performance was panned by critics.

Ritchie reverted back to gangster films with 'Revolver', but it was also badly received.

The British director hit fame a decade ago with the gangster caper 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'.

He recently rejected suggestions his marriage was over with a public show of support at his superstar wife’s 50th birthday party.

Madonna performs in Amsterdam tomorrow night, on the latest leg of her Sticky & Sweet world tour.

The premiere takes place at the Odeon West End, in London’s Leicester Square.
