The 20-year-old singer/actress sparked rumours she's taking her relationship with the sports star to the next level after being spotted sporting a sparkling ring on her wedding finger.

The snaps sent gossips into a spin earlier this month - leading them to speculate Comrie had proposed to the young star.

But the ring was just a gift and not an indicator of future nuptials, according to E! Online.

A source tells the website: "They're not engaged."
