Nicole booted out of Big Brother

Student Nicole was evicted from the Big Brother house tonight, having received the highest percentage of the public vote recorded over the nine series of the show.

The 19-year-old made her exit after more than 90% of the public vote was for her to leave.

Nicole, Rex’s girlfriend, went head to head against Lisa and Sara in an all-girl battle.

Crowds waiting outside the house booed as she left. “Obviously it wasn’t very nice but I wasn’t expecting cheers,” she told presenter Davina McCall.

Nicole, who only joined the house three weeks ago, said “no one ever really wanted to get to know me”.

“I wasn’t happy in there at all. I was never myself. I think it was because I knew so much from the outside,” she said.

Nicole received nominations from Mikey, Lisa, Darnell and Rachel this week.

She was strongly criticised by her fellow housemates who branded her “selfish” and “negative”.

Nicole told McCall that “for me to be in there as Rex’s girlfriend was very difficult”.

She said she was frustrated because she was unable to confront Rex about reports she had read outside the house about him cheating on her.

“I could never say what I wanted to get off my chest,” she said.
