Ellen and wife considering parenthood

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are already talking about having kids after their weekend nuptials.

But, as they tell People.com, they are unsure whether the time is right to become parents.

“We go back and forth,” Portia, 35, said about the prospect of having children. “I don’t know if it’s our immediate future. It’s something we talk about every few months.”

“It’s something we would never take lightly and just say: 'That would be fun.' It’s a lot of work and we recognise that,” said Ellen, 50.

“In a way, we want to be selfish because we love our life, but we know how much that adds to it.”
