Glitter to fight sex offender order

Paedophile singer Gary Glitter is to fight an application for an order that will require him to register as a sex offender, his solicitor told a court today.

David Corker, representing the former Seventies glam rock star, told a district judge that his client claimed his conviction for abusing two young girls in Vietnam was a “travesty of justice” brought about by “unfair trial”.
