'College Road Trip' pleasing, but lacking substance

One for the teens … and any young lady currently considering what college she would like to attend.

The lesson here is: on’t let an overprotective parent hit the road with you.

A neat enough comedy sees Raven-Symone taking to the road to suss out a suitable college, with her overly concerned cop father (Laurence) tagging along on a trip that, natch, offers its fair share of mishaps and embarrassments.

A pleasing little film that doesn’t really have much meat on the bones.
