Applegate has cancer surgery

US actress Christina Applegate has revealed she underwent a double mastectomy in her battle against cancer.

In her first interview since announcing her diagnosis earlier this month, the “Married... With Children” star says she had a double mastectomy three weeks ago and will undergo reconstructive surgery over the next eight months.
