Ill-fated Cruise film set for Christmas release

The controversial film about the assassination attempt on Hitler, 'Valkyrie', has been given a Christmas release date.

The decision follows some studio sour-searching and many complaints from Germany.

The film stars Kenneth Branagh, Tom Cruise and Terence Stamp.
