Lennox recovers from spinal surgery

Annie Lennox has undergone spinal surgery for a back injury which forced her to return home early from an Aids conference, the singer’s spokesman said today.

Surgeons operated on the former Eurythmics star at a London hospital at the weekend to release an impinged nerve.
