Morrissey delays album to search for new label

Morrissey is delaying the release of his new album, while he searches for a new US record label.

'Years of Refusal' was scheduled to hit store shelves in September, but has been put back until 2009, while the former The Smiths frontman courts US distribution companies.

Morrissey is unhappy with the way current label Decca promoted his recent Best Of LP, and wants to replace them, reports CMU Music.

The album will be released through Polydor in the UK next February.
