Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill served up a treat for booze-starved revellers at the band's gig on Saturday - by tossing drinks into the crowd.

The 30,000 revellers crammed into New Jersey's Liberty State Park for the All Points West festival were forced to obey a rule limiting them to five alcoholic drinks each day.

Disgruntled and thirsty fans stuck it out for the band's set, a warm up for headliners Radiohead.

And a few lucky festival-goers were rewarded when Followill announced: "I hear they're not letting you get too drunk out here. Well they didn't say anything to me."

He then tossed a few bottles into the crowd.
