The producers of hit TV show 'The X-Files originally had their eye on a different Anderson for the character Agent Dana Scully - 'Baywatch' babe Pamela Anderson.
The role of the FBI special agent was made famous by Gillian Anderson, but the actress insists TV studio Twentieth Century Fox wanted to cast the blonde beauty instead.
