Michael: 'Kids would make me miserable'
George Michael has dismissed rumours he is planning to start a family with long-term partner Kenny Goss - insisting children would make him "miserable".
The former Wham! singer admits he considered having children in his younger days, before settling down with Goss, and is certain he would make a great dad.
However, the gay star believes he is too settled to consider raising a family at 45, and isn't willing to change his selfish ways.
He says: "(I) thought about that (having children) when I was younger. I've dismissed it now because I've lived such a ridiculously free life. I think I would be a responsible, but miserable parent.
"I think once I decided to have a child it would have to be the most important thing in my life, which would make me very miserable in this stage, because I'm 45, and I'm very spoiled."
