Don't forget 'Paris'

Director: Cedric Kaplisch

Cast: Juliette Binoche, Romain Duris, Fabrice Luchini

An excellent, if not always fully explored, drama from France, 'Paris' told by way of several interlocking stories centred around single mother Binoche who arrives to look after her ill brother (Duris) and becomes involved with a collection of characters, each with their own flaws and failures.

The storyline doesn’t always hold together, but the film is saved by the playing of Binoche as the focal point for the various dramas.

The themes of love, caring, isolation and frustration get that unmistakable French treatment.
