Boy George writes Obama tribute song

Singer Boy George is so inspired by US presidential hopeful Barack Obama, he has written a new song about him.

The former Culture Club frontman had to cancel an American tour this summer, after the US embassy in London denied him a visa, because of outstanding assault charges in the UK.

He insists he is tuned in to the democrat's message of hope - and will be rooting for him when the election comes around in November.

George said: "I've just written a new song called 'Yes, We Can' that was inspired by Obama."
