50 Cent wins unrestricted visits with son
Rapper 50 Cent has been granted brief visitation with his son Marquise in the latest legal battle his with ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins over a recent blaze at his New York home.
The hip-hop star, real name Curtis Jackson, and his former lover have been feuding in court after the Long Island residence - where Tompkins and 11-year-old Marquise had been residing - since it was destroyed in May in what police have called a "suspicious" fire.
Tompkins was recently granted a restraining order against her ex, preventing the star from being on the same premises as her.
The pair was required by the court to submit drug tests before the judge would consider visitation for the rapper.
Jackson tested negative for illegal substances and has since been awarded unrestricted visitation with his son for nine days next month, according to website TMZ.com.
The trial is set to resume on September 15.
