'City of Men' is set in the streets of Rio, where two friends in their late teens start to wonder who their fathers are - all set against a gang war raging in said streets.

It’s, as you might expect, a gritty, dark drama of friendship, fractured families and fierce rivalry and it’s done with compassion in what almost verges on a docu style: it’s a film but not quite a film.
