Winehouse plans party for husband's release
Troubled British star Amy Winehouse is so convinced her husband Blake Fielder-Civil will walk free from jail later this month she is organising a party to celebrate his release.
Fielder-Civil is currently awaiting sentence at London's Pentonville Prison after pleading guilty to perverting the course of justice and causing grievous bodily harm in relation to an attack on a pub landlord in June 2006.
The 25-year-old is expected to be sentenced on July 21. He faces a maximum of five years behind bars for the GBH conviction, while perverting justice charges carry a maximum life sentence - although the judge is unlikely to impose such a severe penalty.
However, Winehouse is sure that her husband will be freed - and has let all her friends know about the homecoming party she is planning.
A friend of the singer tells British publication The Sun: "She has already texted all her friends saying Blake is on the home stretch.
"She's organising a party and people are dreading it because they fear she and Blake will fall back into their old ways."
