Former hellraiser Robert Downey Jr is set to star as Sherlock Holmes in Guy Ritchie’s movie about the Victorian sleuth, according to US reports.

The film will rival the Sherlock Holmes comedy from Columbia Pictures starring Borat and Ali G creator Sacha Baron Cohen in the lead role.
