Wilson comes to Heigl's defence over Emmys

Grey's Anatomy actress Chandra Wilson has defended her co-star Katherine Heigl's decision to pull herself out of the list of 2008 Emmy Award contenders, insisting the topic had been "blown out of proportion".

Heigl, who plays Dr Isobel Stevens in the hit medical drama, withdrew her name from the official ballot because she was unhappy with the development of her character during the most recent season of the show.
