Bale to take over role from Cruise

Batman Christian Bale is in talks to replace Tom Cruise as the President of the United States in an upcoming movie.

Cruise has quit Warner Bros. movie '28th Amendment', prompting movie bosses to

seek out Bale.

MovieHole.net reports talks between movie executives and Cruise broke down last month and he'll no longer play Ben Cahill in the Phillip Noyce action thriller.

In the film, President Cahill battles the leaders of a super secret organisation, who control all US affairs. Denzel Washington will reportedly play the leader of the sect.
