Minnie Driver looking forward to motherhood

Actress Minnie Driver cannot wait to embrace motherhood.

“It was an unplanned event, but very much wanted,” she told reporters at a New York press event for her new film, 'Take'.

“I sort of had a feeling that my life would be – you know I’m not married, so it was always going to be a little more unorthodox.

“I’ve had a crazy gypsy upbringing, and I did fine,” she added.

The 38-year-old, who is expecting to give birth at the end of August, said that she intends to carry on working after the baby is born, although she will wait a while.

“Oh my god, you can’t possibly go straight back to work,” she said. “If I have the baby at the end of the summer, I can’t imagine I’ll be working for the rest of the year. I’m planning on going back in January,” she said.
