Allen refutes designer clothers 'ban'
Pop star Lily Allen has laughed off reports she has been banned from borrowing designer clothes, insisting the allegations have been exaggerated.
The rumours were sparked after the Smile singer returned a soiled Julien Macdonald dress to the designer following a trip to U.K. music festival Glastonbury last summer.
While Allen admits one particular fashion house has refused to lend her garments after another unfortunate incident, she claims the ban is only from a select few designers.
She says: "(That rumour's) not entirely true. There are a few odd people who say that. I'm not very good at keeping clothes clean, especially when I'm going to festivals and stuff just because, you know, it is quite muddy and not really the best place for couture dresses. But I'm not banned from borrowing things from people.
"I think I had one instance when I tried to borrow some shoes from Christian Louboutin and they wouldn't let me because the last time they lent me some, my dog had chewed the heel off!"
