Mayer gets romance approval from ex

Singer John Mayer's romance with actress Jennifer Aniston has been given the seal of approval from an unlikely source - his ex-girlfriend.

Mayer, 30, dated 'Friday Night Lights' star Minka Kelly for several months last year (07) before he and Aniston, 39, began their affair in April.

The couple was spotted on a romantic weekend getaway in Miami, Florida and have been nearly inseparable since.

However, Kelly, 27, insists she only has well wishes for her former flame, saying, "I'm really happy - as long as they're happy, I am."
