Pop star Prince turns 50 today

The iconic pop star Prince is celebrating his 50th birthday today.

The music legend has released several hundred songs both under his own name and through other artists.

His biggest hits include 'Purple Rain', 'Kiss' and '1999'.

The singer is playing Dublin's Croke Park on June 16th, as part of his Greatest Hits Tour.
