Dirty Harry collection will make big impact

Clint Eastwood replaced his western image with the no-nonsense Dirty Harry detective character.

Now The Dirty Harry Ultimate Collector’s Edition (Warner, €54.99) brings together all five of the series — Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool.

Harry Callahan was that rare thing — a San Francisco cop who shot first and asked questions later, hated rule books, and always put the victim before the criminal.

This collection includes a double edition of the original Dirty Harry and too many extras to list, including a special documentary on Eastwood narrated by Morgan Freeman.
