Screaming horror … but for the wrong reasons as a feeble re-make of the Jamie Lee Curtis l980s bloodfest comes limping to the screen.

It’s simply too awful to dwell on: witless, poorly directed, performed not at all by a second-rate cast, not at all scary … once again we ask ourselves what idiot sitting at his desk decided this was worth spending money on?

And why is he still working in the movie business?
