Cois Fharraige festival lineup announced

Travis, Supergrass, The Zutons, The Futureheads, Seasick Steve, The Coronas, Cathy Davey and 28 Costumes have been confirmed to play the Cois Fharraige with Sony Ericsson festival this year.

The three-day festival will once again take place in Kilkee, Co Clare in September 5-7 with a weekend of live music and water sport activities.

Last year’s Cois Fharraige with Sony Ericsson sold out in advance of the festival weekend and won the award for Best New Festival 2007 in the Irish Festival Awards.

Early bird three-day festival tickets inclusive of booking fee are €79.50 until August 11 and €89.50 following that date. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday June 13.

A number of water sport activities will kick off across Kilkee bay over the weekend including the Sony Ericsson Cold Water Classic Surf event.

Camping, self catering, bed & breakfast and hotels are available in the coastal town of Kilkee and along the west coast of Clare.
