50 Cent entourage member arrested for assault

A member of rapper 50 Cent's entourage has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman.

According to reports, police received a phone call in the early hours of Tuesday morning from the 'In Da Club' star's Connecticut mansion from the alleged victim, claiming she had been attacked by Dwayne McKenzie.

Police proceeded to arrest McKenzie at the Farmington estate after concluding the woman sustained visible injuries consistent with her complaint.

McKenzie has been charged with strangulation, assault, breach of peace and unlawful restraint.

He has since been released on $10,000 (€6,359) bail, reports website TMZ.com.

A spokesperson for 50 Cent has declined to comment on the arrest.
