Swayze denies 'Point Break' comeback

Patrick Swayze is baffled by claims he is taking time out from cancer treatment to star in a sequel to 1991 surfing movie 'Point Break'.

W. Peter Iliff, who wrote the screenplay for the original movie, has penned a follow-up, and insists Swayze will reprise his role as bank-robbing surfer Bodhi and co-star Keanu Reeves is onboard to play FBI agent Johnny Utah.

He tells Us Weekly magazine: "We always wanted Patrick to return. He'll definitely be surfing."

Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last month, but Iliff adds of the actor's health: "Things are going well, he's fighting the good fight."

On Wednesday Swayze issued a statement revealing he is responding well to cancer treatment - but his representative insists he will not be taking part in a 'Point Break' sequel.
