'Star Trek' actor to marry gay partner

'Star Trek' actor George Takei said he will marry his long-term partner and business manager now that the California Supreme Court has legalised same-sex marriage.

Takei, the original Mr Sulu on 'Star Trek', said that he and Brad Altman have shared their lives for more than 21 years and are “overjoyed” to be able to marry legally.
