Tina Turner announces first tour in eight years
Tina Turner has announced her first tour in eight years – at the age of 68.
The singer has promised that her trademark big hair and shapely legs will be on show at the European tour, which includes dates in London and Manchester.
The show will feature hits spanning Turner’s career, from 'Nutbush City Limits' to the song from James Bond film 'GoldenEye'.
Asked whether she will don her famous look of mini skirt and high-heels during the tour, the rock veteran said: “I must have one dress or the crowd will hose me out of the joint, and I still can because I’m in good shape.
“You can’t go without the lipsticks, the hair and of course making sure you bring the legs along.”
The singer, who duetted at this year’s Grammys with Beyonce, plays at the O2 Arena in London and the Manchester MEN Arena in March next year.
