Hucknall hits out at red hair 'racism'

Simply Red star Mick Hucknall has branded those who mock redheads as "racist".

The singer hates people who belittle his fellow red-haired comrades - and those who make fun of regional accents.

"It has become acceptable to mock people for the colour of their hair or the way they talk and it saddens me," he said.

"It's like racism."
