Hugh Cornwell, the former frontman of The Stranglers, has hit out at punk fans who hope the legendary band will reunite - telling them to "move on".

The band, which split in 1990 after 17 years, was at the forefront of the punk movement in 1970s Britain, and spawned iconic tracks including 'Peaches' and 'No More Heroes'.
