Britney and Gibson on holiday together

Britney Spears and Mel Gibson are off on holiday together!

People.com reports that the singer and her dad Jamie accompanied Mel and his wife Robin to Costa Rica, where they plan to stay in Mel’s house there. The party are said to be returning next week.

“They’re just going away for a few days to relax,” a source told the website.

Apparently Mel and Brit were first seen hanging out together in mid-March when they had a meal at Russian restaurant Romanov in Los Angeles. Their families have met up a few times after she was hospitalised earlier this year.

“Mel and his wife Robin clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible,” another source told People.

“There are no expectations, there is no agenda,” the source added. “It’s simply an act of human kindness.”
