Countdown to Rory Gallagher International Festival in Donegal

It is 60 years since Irish rock-blues guitarist was born in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal and final preparations are underway ahead of the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival 2008 that takes place in two weeks.

Now in its seventh year, this unique four-day festival is fast becoming one of the biggest music festival’s in the country with thousands of Rory Gallagher's fans from all over the world set to make the annual pilgrimage to honour Rory in his birthplace of Ballyshannon between Thursday May 29 and Sunday June 1.
