'Made of Honour' a mildly amusing romantic caper

Another in the ever-flowing stream of romantic comedies in which one character suddenly realises that he/she loves what has been until now a best friend – alas now intent on marrying another – and is determined to thwart the proceedings.

This one sees Dempsey as the man who faces losing the love of his life, Monaghan, to a new man … having in addition been asked to act as her Maid of Honour.

It becomes merely another mildly amusing romantic caper in which nothing substantial is asked of any of the players except to help us pass a few sort-of pleasing moments.

It will certainly pass an evening, but will not leave any lasting impression.
